New cooperation for safety at sea

"For us, it's important to support everyone who works seriously towards safety at sea, and Seaber is one of those"

New collaboration for safety at sea

Seaber is an app where you can see friends at sea, use charts and ask other Seaber users for help. For example, if you wake up on an island with a flat battery or you suddenly run out of fuel. Seaber calls this "Neighbor help at sea".

- We are very happy for the collaboration with Redningsselskap, says Trond Erik Bognø, general manager of Seaber.

- We see this as strengthening safety at sea and an opportunity for a more enjoyable and more social boating life, Bognø continues.

Through a collaboration with the Rescue Company, it will now also be possible to call for help from the lifeboats in the app, if the "neighbor" is not enough.

- The rescue company has a vision that no one should drown. This will be a positive contribution to our vision. For us, it is important to support everyone who works seriously towards safety at sea, and Seaber is one of these, says Martin Fuhr Bolstad, director of projects in the Rescue Company.
